01 · Who we are
Family-owned. Self-performing concrete and carpentry. Three offices across Colorado.
02 · Sectors
Offices, healthcare and hospitality in Denver’s busiest blocks.
We build in occupied, high-traffic places — next to hospitals, over transit, beside hotels that never close. Phasing, noise and neighbours are planned before the first shovel.
Distribution, manufacturing and cold storage along I-70 and I-76.
Tilt-up and pre-engineered steel buildings delivered on aggressive schedules, with super-flat floors and the power and process systems owners actually need.
Mountain homes and multi-family buildings built for snow load and altitude.
From a ski-in house in Vail to 300 apartments on Colfax, we bring the same superintendents and the same quality checks to every home we build.
One contract, one team, and a guaranteed price early.
We bring the architect and engineers onto our team, test the budget while the design is still flexible, and stay accountable for the result.

04 · Process
Every project begins with a clear understanding of the site, the people and the purpose behind the building.
Drawings, engineering and agency reviews move in parallel, so approvals arrive when the schedule needs them.
Our own superintendents run every site, with a safety brief before each shift and weekly owner walks.
Commissioned systems, trained facility teams and a complete digital record — and a warranty walk at year two.

05 · Safety & trust
Every worker goes home the way they arrived. Every owner is protected by bonding, insurance and a quality programme audited by third parties.

06 · A letter from our president
My father started WoodIron in 1981 with a pickup truck, a cement mixer and a promise to answer the phone himself. For more than four decades we’ve combined engineering discipline with craftsmanship to build spaces that outlive trends.
We still self-perform the work that matters most, we still walk every site each week, and the people who sign your contract are still the people who pick up when something goes wrong.
We would be glad to build with you.

“They kept every light-rail track open for 29 months. Our tenants never knew a crane was overhead.”
Lena BrandtDevelopment Director · Wynkoop Partners (demo)“Weekly owner walks, honest schedules and a punch list of nine items. We will build with them again.”
Carla NuñezOwner’s Rep · Cherry Creek Living (demo)“Best-run site I have walked in thirty years. Clean, safe and on schedule every single week.”
Gary LindqvistBuilding Official (retired) · City of Golden (demo)“The guaranteed price came at 40% design and they beat it. That never happens in lab construction.”
Dr. Owen PikeVP Facilities · Flatirons Research (demo)“Phased hand-over meant our racking crews started ten weeks early. That paid for itself.”
Derek HaleCOO · Front Range Logistics (demo)“They told us about problems before we found them. That is the whole job, and they do it.”
Ana OrtizAsset Manager · Mile High REIT (demo)“Two winters at 8,200 feet and not one day of rework. The house is better than the renderings.”
Sofia & Mark EllisonHomeowners · Aspen (demo)“They restored every steel arch in the rail shed and still opened on the date we announced.”
Mei TanakaFounder · River North Market (demo)“Their prefab wall panels cut six weeks off framing. Neighbours barely noticed the build.”
